I’m realizing that I don’t post often enough. The problem is that I don’t want to be putting something up for the sake of posting. I have several drafts in the wings and a couple of ideas for material that will flow a bit more freely. I saw yesterday that there are 10 subscribers to the feed. After taking mine out and my wife’s, I’m happy to see that there are at least 8 more of you out there.
Three requests:
1. Don’t give up. Check the feed at least once a week, I’ll take this opportunity to commit to at least one substantial post a week.
2. If you are a part of a men’s group or know someone who is, let me know about it. I want this site to be a resource for men and grow into a forum or support system.
and ,
3. Include me and this endeavor in your prayers.
For Freedom,
bert

Your valediction reminds me:
Jimmy Needham - For Freedom
(Galatians 5:1-2)
Oh to be delighted by you
And to see the colors of your train
And to be freed by you
That would be that would be
That would be my claim to fame
So rejoice my friend because my friend
You’ve got a friend and friend indeed
It is for freedom he set us free
But Simon says to fill your void
With toy after toy after girl after boy
After all isn’t that what we were meant for
Please believe me when I say
It is for freedom he set us free
Oh poor us we sigh
Pour us out I cry
So we can be free
The bigger picture is there is a holy calling
Oh how I’m slowly falling
Falling falling in love
And your water has been pouring out on me
How could I be so naive
It is for freedom it is for freedom
It is for freedom he set us free
I dig that cat. I think his music picks up where Rich Mullins left off.
